Start a SWATC Ministry in your place of worship
It is my prayer that every church across the country will birth a SWATC Ministry in order to serve one of the greatest areas of need in its community; domestic violence. I am so grateful for all of the churches doing God’s work, but at some point in time, every church has to leave the building. The church has to begin to do Kingdom work, operating outside of the church walls and in the community and throughout the Kingdom. After all, this is part of what makes a church good sowing ground.
With that being said, God wants it to be made clear that the SWATC Ministry is not “Church Work”, but instead, it is “Kingdom Work.” It is not the ministry of one particular church; it is a united outreach effort amongst many churches, regardless of denomination. If you are interested in starting a SWATC Ministry at your place of worship, we will be happy to send one of our Kingdom workers to meet with you and aid you in setting one up. If God has not spoken to you and commanded you to start a SWATC Ministry at your place of worship, perhaps you can bless the ministry by registering to be a partnering church. A partnering church simply allows their church to serve as a drop-off and pick-up location only. Your church does not have to collect and deliver any care package items. You just have to open your church doors so that the transaction of the care packages can be made. We will be very mindful to work around your church operating hours. If you feel led to start your own SWATC Ministry or become the person of contact for a SWATC Partnering Church , please make sure that you meet with church leaders to discuss and/or receive approval. Everything we do for God must be decent and i n order. If your church is not led to start its own SWATC Ministry or become a SWATC Partnering Church , please consider holding a SWATC Ministry Drive at your church in order to collect donations and needed items. .
